The Voxta Conversion Process

To ensure a successful import into Voxta, we perform the following technical steps during conversion:

RFC 4122 UUID Generation: Every Voxta character needs a unique identifier. We generate a fresh ID so you never experience profile collisions.
Field Normalization: We map first_mes to firstMessage and personality to personality, while also creating a profile block based on your character's description.
Text Preserved: Markdown and special tokens in your text are carried over exactly as written.

How to Import into Voxta

Convert your card using the tool above and download the character.json.
Locate your Voxta installation folder.
Go to the profiles directory and create a new folder named after your character.
Paste the character.json into that folder.
Copy your character's image into the same folder and rename it to match (e.g., character.png).
